Raúl Díaz and Guada Arnedo absolute winners of the 21km race of the XI Trail Run Almendros y Volcanes
In the 14km event the absolute winners were Yacomar García and Ruth Aldea while in the 7km event the winners were the local runner Javier Amaro and Andrea Martínez
Raúl Díaz and the local runner Guada Arnedo were the absolute winners of the 21km queen test of the XI edition of the Almendros y Volcanes Trail Run in Santiago del Teide, which was also valid for the KSeries Canarias circuit and which took place this Sunday April 23 along the trails of the upper-middle part of the municipality with departure and arrival at the Abelardo González de Tamaimo square.
The podium in the men's category of the 21km race was as follows: athlete Raúl Díaz finished in first place, second place was Imanol Rojo, while Germán González finished in third place.
In the female category, the podium was as follows: local athlete Guada Arnedo finished first, followed by Mireyma Díaz and followed by Valeria Donati.
As for the 14km race, the result was as follows: in the men's category, the first place went to Yacomar García, second place was occupied by Peio Martín Saiz, while third place went to Román Sánchez. As for the women's category in the 14km race, first place went to Ruth Aldea, second place went to Inmaculada Bejarano and third place went to Jéssica González.
In the 7k race in the men's category, the first place went to the local athlete Javier Amaro followed by Daniel Sacramento and Juan Felipe Martín. In the women's category of the 7km race, the first place went to Andrea Martínez, in second place came Marina Guerra and in third place Leticia Báez finished.
Regarding the result of the local athletes who did the 21km race, the prizes went to Fernando Arnedo, Ángel Cristo Reverón and Eduardo Mesa in the male category, while in the female category the prize went to Guada Arnedo. In the 14 km race, the local men's podium was made up of Pedro Martín, Saulo Gorrín and Juan José Expósito, while the women's podium went to Mirella Delgado followed by Rebeca Domínguez.
In the 7km race, the men's podium went to Javier Amaro followed by Tanausú Martel and Rubén Flores while in the women's category Magdeny Muelet finished first, followed by Estefi Pérez and Fernanda Arnedo.
The Councilor for Sports, Juan Carlos González, and different members of the government group were present at the award ceremony.
