For the third year, the City Council obtains a score of 10 out of 10 and co-leaders the regional ranking of public administration transparency portals
For the third consecutive year, the Santiago del Teide City Council becomes one of the most transparent consistories in the entire Canary Islands, obtaining a score of 10 out of 10 according to the report published by the Transparency Commissioner of the Canary Islands Autonomous Community for the year 2021 .
These data demonstrate the progress in better management, more transparent and closer to the citizen that has been reflected in the data from the last 5 reports when it barely reached a 5 score in 2016 while in the last three reports of 2019 , 2020 and this year 2021 the score is 10 out of 10, the maximum possible.
The mayor, Emilio Navarro, points out that "this data demonstrates our commitment and priority for transparency and that the citizens of the municipality have better and greater accessibility to all the information generated by their local corporation."
The Commissioner for Transparency and Access to Public Information of the Canary Islands is a body created by the Transparency Law of the Canary Islands and dedicated to the promotion, analysis, control and protection of transparency and the right of access to public information in the Canary Islands.
