Registration is open to participate in the IX edition of the Santiago del Teide Cycling Tour
Said sports event will be held on June 11 and will have the Abelardo González de Tamaimo square as its starting and finishing point.
The Santiago del Teide City Council, in collaboration with Landmar Hotels, La Casona del Patio and the local cycling team Risco Blanco, announces that registrations are now open to participate in the IX edition of the traditional Santiago del Teide Cycling Tour, which will take place It will take place on Sunday, June 11 from 09:30 a.m.
All people who wish to do so may participate, whether they are federated or not, regardless of gender or nationality, as long as they are 18 years of age or older on the day of the test and do not suffer from any disease that incapacitates them for this kind of event. Participation is valid, both with racing, mountain, and electric bicycles.
Thus, this event will have the Abelardo González de Tamaimo square as its starting and finishing point and after 51 km of cycling tour it will have the last 6 km of ascent to Tamaimo as a time trial at a competitive level and where the final classifications will be defined. The complete route leaves from Tamaimo then goes up to Santiago del Teide, Arguayo, Chio, Guía de Isora,
Armeñime, Alcalá, Puerto de Santiago and back to Tamaimo.
