The town of El Retamar celebrates its festivities in honor of the Virgin of El Rocío and Saint Lawrence the Martyr

The town of El Retamar will celebrate its festivities this weekend in honor of the Virgin of El Rocío and Saint Lawrence the Martyr, specifically on Sunday, June 7th, with liturgical services and recreational activities for the enjoyment of its residents.
Thus, on Sunday, June 7th, at 8:00 a.m., the THM Events team will arrive to provide entertainment for the day's festivities. From 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., there will be a children's play area in the town square.
Around 2:00 p.m., the participants of the 6th edition of the Route of the Villages will arrive at the hermitage of Saint Lawrence the Martyr with a floral offering. At 7:00 PM, Holy Mass in Honor of Our Lady of El Rocío and Saint Lawrence the Martyr will be celebrated by Parish Priest Víctor Manuel Fernández and sung by the AFC Raíces choir. Following the Mass, a procession will take place along the usual route, accompanied by the Santiago del Teide Municipal Band, local authorities, and the faithful. Upon arrival at the plaza, a fireworks display will be held.
Afterwards, a toast will be offered to all attendees, followed by a musical performance by Luis Deseda.
