Mayor presents the 9th edition of the “Un Mar de Experiencias 2026” project
The project will run from October 5 to November 27 and will feature a wide range of activities linked to the sea and traditional fishing.
Mayor Emilio Navarro presented the 9th edition of the “Un Mar de Experiencias 2026” project this morning, Monday, September 28. Running from October 5 to November 27, the project will feature an extensive lineup of gastronomic and recreational activities centered on local seafood products and traditional fishing.
During the presentation, held at the Hotel La Casona del Patio, Mayor Emilio Navarro emphasized: “We remain firmly committed to supporting artisanal fishing, highlighting an activity closely tied to our identity and traditions. At the same time, we are working to promote our local products and raise awareness about the importance of preserving and caring for our environment—especially among younger generations—by fostering respect for our surroundings and natural resources from an early age.”
Germán Jiménez, the Councilor for the Primary Sector, also spoke at the event, outlining the various activities and events scheduled through November 27. Highlights include the “Un Mar de Experiencias” fair, which will feature a showcase of local and artisanal products, as well as demonstrations of fish (tuna) butchery and tastings.
