Public company Santiago del Teide Gestión SL approves positive financial results for another year
The company has achieved this milestone for the sixth consecutive year.
Once again, Santiago del Teide Gestión SL—a wholly municipal company responsible for managing the Pancracio Socas García Sports Complex and the Gym Tamaimo–Juan Damián Gorrín Ramos, as well as the management and maintenance of municipal sports facilities, the Municipal Sports Revitalization Plan, and, recently, public building cleaning services—successfully held its ordinary general meeting. During the meeting, the financial accounts for the 2025 fiscal year were approved, showing a positive financial outcome.
This milestone underscores the company's continued growth and success in its commitment to providing exceptional sports facilities and promoting a healthy lifestyle in Santiago del Teide. Notably, this marks the sixth consecutive year that Santiago del Teide Gestión SL has reported positive financial results, solidifying its position as a benchmark in municipal sports management.
Emilio Navarro, Mayor of Santiago del Teide and the company's president, expressed his satisfaction with the results, stating, "We are proud of the work done by the entire team; their efforts not only improve our residents' quality of life but also reaffirm our commitment to fostering physical activity and sports across all our sports facilities."
Meanwhile, Yeremi Curbelo, the public company's manager, highlighted the importance of surpassing the previous year's user numbers and expanding sports offerings to meet that demand. He reaffirmed that "our goal is to continue providing the best possible service, adapting to our users' needs and establishing ourselves as a benchmark on the island." Finally, it is worth mentioning that Gym Tamaimo opened and began operations in 2025, and public building cleaning services commenced in 2026.
