City Council Opens Registration for the 10th Edition of the "Murallas del Infierno" Open Water Swim

The event will take place on October 31st, starting at 9:30 AM.

The Santiago del Teide City Council has opened registration for the 10th edition of the "Murallas del Infierno" (Walls of Hell) Open Water Swim. The event will be held on October 31st, starting at 9:30 AM at Los Guíos Beach in Acantilado de Los Gigantes.

As in previous editions, there will be two race distances: a short 1.5 km course (a loop at Los Guíos Beach) and a long 6.5 km course (starting at Masca Beach and finishing at Los Guíos Beach). Participation is capped at 200 entrants for the short distance and 200 for the long distance.

An important requirement for the 6.5 km race is that participants must indicate on the registration form at least one open water swim completed in 2024 or 2025 covering a distance of more than 2,000 meters.

Standard registration fees are €30 for the 6.5 km race and €20 for the 1.5 km race; however, residents registered in the municipality of Santiago del Teide receive a 50% discount on both events.

Online registration is open until October 28th at the following link:
