Santa Cruz de Tenerife, chosen as the destination for the 36th edition of the Santiago del Teide Seniors' Excursion

 

This year, the seniors' excursion takes place on Saturday, April 26th.

 

The island's capital, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, is the chosen destination for the visit and cultural exchange on April 26th for the "36th edition of the Seniors' Excursion." All residents registered in the municipality who are over 60 years of age are invited. They may be accompanied by their spouse, regardless of age.

 

The itinerary for this 36th edition, barring last-minute changes, consists of the following route: departure at 8:00 a.m. from each of the specified stops, heading north of the island, with the first stop for breakfast at El Tanque.

From here, the group will travel to Santa Cruz de Tenerife to visit García Sanabria Park and its surroundings, as well as the Church of San Francisco de Asís. Afterwards, a ceremony between the two municipalities will be held in Plaza de La Candelaria.

 

After the events, the delegation of nearly 500 people will travel to the Castillo San Miguel restaurant in Aldea Blanca for a luncheon of fellowship and brotherhood, as well as the traditional dance party.
