Agustín David Reyes and Myriam Báez are the overall winners of the 21km race at the 14th edition of the Almendros y Volcanes Trail Run in Santiago del Teide.

 

In the 14km race, the overall winners were Ossama Ghazi and local runner Guada Arnedo, while in the 7km race, the winners were Enrique Morales and Bárbara Maag.

 

Agustín David Reyes and Myriam Báez were the overall winners of the main 21km race at the 14th edition of the Almendros y Volcanes Trail Run in Santiago del Teide, which was part of the KSeries Canarias circuit and took place this Sunday, April 19th, along the trails of the mid-to-upper part of the municipality, starting and finishing in the Abelardo González square in Tamaimo. The podium for the men's 21km race was as follows: Agustín David Reyes finished first, Javier Hernández second, and Jocsan Negrín third.

 

In the women's category, the podium was as follows: Myriam Báez finished first, followed by Virginia Díaz and Silvia Luis.

 

As for the 14km race, the results were as follows: in the men's category, Ossama Ghazi took first place, José María Rodríguez second, and Anderson Domínguez third. In the women's 14km race, local runner Guada Arnedo finished first, Sandra Arévalo second, and Marlenn Delgado third.

 

In the men's 7km race, Enrique Morales took first place, Alejandro Gómez second, and José David Martín third. In the women's category, Bárbara Maag took first place, Laura Lozana came in second, and Raquel Hernández finished third.

 

Regarding the results of the local athletes who ran the 21km race, the men's prizes went to Saulo Gorrín, followed by Rubén Rodríguez in second and Francisco José Hernández in third, while Rebeca Domínguez won in the women's category. In the 14km race, the local men's podium was comprised of Javier Pérez, Donovan Dorta, and Víctor José Ramos, while the women's podium was made up of Guada Arnedo, Mirella Delgado, and Attemisa Fuentes.

 

In the 7km race, the local men's podium was comprised of Piotr Goworek, Similia Alessandro, and Juan Miguel Padrón, while in the women's category, Rocío Rodríguez finished in first place, followed by Daiva Darginaviciene and Sandra Haideé Lugo.

 

The First Deputy Mayor, Ibraim Forte, the Councillor for Sports, Juan Carlos González, the Councillor for Culture, David Quintero and the Councillor for Works and Services, Alexandra León, were present at the awards ceremony.
