Santiago del Teide hosts a new edition of the training program for families “Educar en Familia 2024”

 

It will have 3 sessions with which new tools and keys aimed at the proper functioning of the family nucleus will be addressed.

 

The City Council of the Historical Village of Santiago del Teide together with the Department of Education, Universities, Culture and Sports of the Government of the Canary Islands, launches a new edition of the training program for families “Educate as a Family 2024”, which will be held at the IES Serafín Pardo de Tamaimo on February 7, 14 and 21.

Regarding the topics that will be developed in them, they have been chosen because of the interest they arouse and their main objective is to act as a space from which the school community has the opportunity to deepen their knowledge on the subject and thus be able to put into practice. practice new tools and keys aimed at the proper functioning of the family unit.

In this way, the municipality will have 3 sessions, of a training nature, based on current social problems and aspects and taught by the health psychologist Karla Chinea Jordán. In this sense, the training program is as follows:

* March 7, from 4:30 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.: Session “Importance of the personal emotional development of fathers and mothers.”

 

 

* March 14, from 4:30 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.: Session “Letting go of control: limits to educate.”

 

 

* March 21, from 4:30 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.: Session “Conflict prevention and resolution.”
