Emilio Navarro, proclaimed mayor of Santiago del Teide for the third consecutive lecture

Emilio José Navarro Castanedo has been proclaimed Mayor of the City Council of the Historic Town of Santiago del Teide for the third consecutive term after the full constitution of the new municipal government that was held this Saturday, June 17 in the central courtyard of the town hall building.
After the constitution of the Age Bureau, composed of the older and younger councillors, María Raquel Paz Hernández and David Salvador Quintero Pérez, respectively, there was the accreditation of the councillors elected before the Age Bureau, through the comparison of the credential issued by the Zone Electoral Board and the DNI.
Then, each elected councillor swore in or promised his position. Next, the 17 elected councillors proceeded to the vote for the election of the Mayor, being Emilio Navarro, elected by the 13 votes of the Popular Party, new Mayor of the City Council of the Historic Village of Santiago del Teide for the next 4 years.
After swearing in office, Emilio Navarro Castanedo addressed the attendees at the official act of inauguration of the new local government. The mayor, in his third investiture speech, stated that "on this important and special day for our municipality I feel deeply excited by all the displays of affection and support; it is, without a doubt, the beginning of a new legislature in which we will continue striving to continue fulfilling our main purpose for 8 years, which is none other than to build a Santiago del Teide that continues to advance
