The city council puts out to tender the project to improve the urbanization of Geranio de Los Gigantes street
The base budget for the tender amounts to €1,975,337.65 and the presentation of offers ends at 5:00 p.m. on June 1
The Santiago del Teide City Council has put out to tender the urbanization improvement project for Geranio de Acantilado de Los Gigantes street, whose main objective is to contribute to reducing the existing municipal deficit in the urban sanitation infrastructure, necessary for the effective provision of compulsory municipal services, bringing municipal sanitation networks to optimal levels of efficiency and quality.
The estimated value of the contract amounts to 1,975,337.65 euros (0% IGIC rate) with an execution period of 22 months and the submission of offers through the Public Sector Contracting Platform ends at 5:00 p.m. hours of June 1.
The action will consist of the installation of new sanitation, rainwater and supply networks that will improve the efficiency of the services. Likewise, paving works will be carried out on the sidewalk, including tactile paving with directional indicator and warning indicator in pedestrian crossings. and including the necessary recess for the accessibility of the area.
After the works to improve the services, the urbanization works of the street will be carried out, improving accessibility and pedestrianization.
Said action consists of bringing the state of these sanitation networks in the entire extension of the insular geography closer to compliance with Directive 91/271/EEC, transposed into internal law by Royal Decree Law 11/1995, of December 28, by which establishes the standards applicable to the treatment of residual waters, in an attempt to protect the environment from contamination by the discharge of fecal or industrial waters and the preservation of continental and coastal waters.
