Nearly 300 Participants in the 9th Annual "Walls of Hell" Open Water Swim

The event will take place this Saturday, November 1st, starting at 9:30 a.m. with the 6.5 km swim.

Nearly 300 swimmers will participate this Saturday, November 1st, starting at 9:30 a.m. in the 9th Annual "Walls of Hell" Open Water Swim.

As in previous years, there will be two distances: a longer 6.5 km swim starting at Masca Beach at 9:30 a.m. and finishing at Los Guíos Beach, and a shorter 1.5 km loop swim on Los Guíos Beach, starting at 12:00 p.m. The maximum time allowed for the different race distances is 3 hours for the 6.5km race and 1 hour for the 1.5km race.

Race bibs can be collected on the day of the race from 7:00 to 8:30 a.m. in the tent located inside the Los Gigantes Pier for participants in the 6.5km race. For the 1.5km race, bibs can be collected from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. in the tent located on Los Guíos Beach.

The awards ceremony is scheduled for approximately 2:00 p.m.
