The city council calls for aptitude tests to obtain the municipal taxi driver's permit
Interested persons can submit their application before April 22
The City Council of Santiago del Teide has recently opened a public call for the aptitude test necessary to obtain the municipal taxi driver's permit in the municipality. This initiative aims to promote the professionalisation of the taxi sector and offer job opportunities to those interested.
Persons interested in participating in the exam must submit their application before April 22, 2025.
Applications can be made through the municipal electronic headquarters https://sede.santiagodelteide.es, using a digital certificate or Cl@ve, or at the City Council's registration assistance offices, attaching ID and class B driver's license.
The bases of the call are published in the Official Gazette of the Province number 15, of February 3, 2020.
To participate in the exam, those interested must meet the following requirements: Possess a class B driver's license, prove by medical certificate that they do not suffer from infectious diseases or physical or psychological impediments that hinder the normal exercise of the profession and lack of a criminal record.
Obtaining the taxi driver's license opens the doors to possible employment contracts as taxi employees, thus contributing to the economic and social development of the municipality. All interested parties are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to be part of a dynamic and constantly evolving sector.
