€60,000 allocated for rental assistance for university and vocational training students for the 2026/2027 academic year

The Santiago del Teide City Council is once again launching a grant scheme to help cover rental costs for university and vocational training students residing in the municipality. The initiative has a budget of €60,000—an increase of €20,000 compared to the previous academic year.
Eligibility for this call for applications—open until October 20th—extends to individuals who have been registered as residents in the municipality for at least six months and are currently pursuing post-compulsory education programs specified in the regulations. Applicants must meet all required criteria and not fall under any of the exclusion grounds expressly outlined in the rules.
The grant amount awarded will be determined by dividing the €60,000 budget among applicants who meet the established requirements; required documentation must include proof of the rental arrangement (rental contract). Each applicant may receive a maximum of €400.
