María del Carmen Socas Jiménez, Grand Lady of the 2026 Festivities in Honor of Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Puerto de Santiago
The gala took place this Tuesday, July 14th, in the town square.
María del Carmen Socas Jiménez, representing Radio Curbelo, was crowned last night, Tuesday, July 14th, as the new Grand Lady of the 2026 Festivities in Honor of Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Puerto de Santiago, succeeding Doris Josefina Torrealba Morales.
The gala, directed by Sedomir Rodríguez de la Sierra and presented by Kiko Barroso, featured a theatrical performance by the Cherfe group and a performance by the singer Rafa Rodríguez.
The other candidates, Ana Mercedes Hernández Jiménez, María del Carmen Fieiro Barreiro, and Trinidad Socas Jiménez, were awarded the title of Ladies-in-Waiting.
