Santiago del Teide Says "NO" to Gender Violence

The Santiago del Teide City Council joined the commemorative events scheduled for the "International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women," observed annually on November 25th.

The main event took place in front of the town hall, where the Councilor for Equality, María José García Pérez, read an institutional declaration and a manifesto against gender violence, reiterating the city council's commitment to combating this social scourge.

Following this, a minute of silence was observed in memory of the victims, and in the town square, Shower Cultura presented the play "The Algorithm of Fear," which explored the power of social media in various forms of digital violence.
