The City Council Announces the 39th Edition of the "Corners of Santiago" Painting and Photography Competition
Submissions can be made until 11:59 p.m. on July 23rd. The Santiago del Teide City Council announces that the deadline for submitting entries for the "38th Edition of the Corners of Santiago Photography and Painting Competition" is open until 11:59 p.m. on July 23rd. Entrants are welcome to participate in the "Corners of Santiago" Photography and Painting Competition. Anyone over 18 years of age, residents of the Canary Islands and/or any other territory, provided they were born in the Canary Islands and can prove their birth.
The theme must be about the "Corners of Santiago," understood as a representative sample of corners, picturesque landscapes, ethnography, etc., of the municipality of Santiago del Teide. The works must be original and unpublished and cannot have been previously submitted to any other photography competition or contest. Participants are solely responsible for any copyright claims.
The deadline for submitting works is 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, July 23rd. The jury's decision will be made on July 24th and the jury's verdict will be read on July 25th, coinciding with the celebration of the Santiago del Teide Patron Saint Festival.
For the "Painting" category, the technique will be freely chosen and the work must have a minimum format of 50 cm high x 65 cm wide. The prizes are as follows:
FIRST PRIZE.......................... €740.74

THIRD PRIZE......................... 150.00 euros
For the "Photography" category, the files must be digital JPEG, measuring 40x60 and with a resolution of 300 dpi. They must not exceed 10 MB in size. They may be in color or black and white, and manipulation is permitted.

SECOND PRIZE........................ 200.00 euros
THIRD PRIZE.............................. 150.00 euros
Similarly, a maximum of two works may be submitted, from a single category or a combination of both, by each author. These must be submitted as follows:
