Santiago del Teide Renews ENS Certification, Demonstrating Commitment to Information Security and Protection
The Santiago del Teide City Council has once again received the ENS (National Security Framework) certification—an achievement demonstrating its commitment to information security and protection. The award was presented during the 5th Conference on Cybersecurity in Local Government, organized by the Tenerife Island Council (Cabildo) at the University of La Laguna’s Faculty of Social Sciences and Communication.
Obtaining this certification ensures a high level of protection against risks and cyber threats, guarantees the availability of critical technological services, boosts confidence in the use of digital services, and establishes advanced security controls.
This certification reinforces the City Council's commitment to information security and provides added assurance to users, collaborators, and partner entities. It signifies that the Council's information systems and services have been audited in compliance with the requirements of Royal Decree 311/2022 (dated May 3).
The certificate of accreditation was accepted by Gesabel Dorta, the Councilor for New Technologies.
