The city council presents the participatory project "Suma Santiago del Teide"

 

This initiative is intended for citizens to be an active part in the decision-making and planning of the municipality

 

The City Council of the Historic Village of Santiago del Teide, in collaboration with the area of Social Action, Inclusion, Volunteering and Citizen Participation of the Island Council of Tenerife, has launched its participatory project "Suma Santiago del Teide", which will be carried out in different locations of the municipality from next Thursday, February 6 and until the end of July, highlighting that it is designed so that citizens are an active part in the decision-making and planning of the municipality, knowing what citizen participation is and how it can be exercised on a day-to-day basis.

 

In this sense, in its first phase of development, neighborhood meetings will be held in different nuclei of the municipality, in which citizens and the local government will work together, identifying the needs of the municipality to propose solutions and build a better future for Santiago del Teide. The dates and places of them are as follows:

 

- Thursday, February 6: Tamaimo Social Center, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. (2 neighborhood meetings).

 

- Thursday, February 13: La Vigilia II Social Center in Puerto de Santiago, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. (2 neighborhood meetings).

 

- Thursday, February 20: Chinyero Visitor Center (Santiago del Teide), from 17:30 to 19:00H.

 

- Thursday, February 27: Arguayo Cultural Center, from 17:30 to 19:00H.
