The mayor presents the 1st edition of the Tenerife Vive+Santiago del Teide Festival
It will take place on July 5 and 6 in the Plaza de Puerto de Santiago with free admission, featuring performances by Pedro Capó and Chanel along with other artists
This Tuesday, July 2, Mayor Emilio Navarro presented all the details of the long-awaited Tenerife Vive + Santiago del Teide Festival that will take place this coming weekend, specifically, on July 5 and 6 in the Plaza de Puerto de Santiago with performances by internationally renowned artists such as Pedro Capó, Chanel, among others and all with free admission.
He was accompanied in the presentation by the Councilor for Youth, Juan Carlos González, and the Councilor for Commerce of the Cabildo de Tenerife, representing the island entity that promotes the event through Turismo de Tenerife as well as Promotur de Turismo de Canarias.
Emilio Navarro opened the conference highlighting the importance of the festival for the local community and its positive impact on the economy and culture of the municipality. “We are excited to host internationally renowned artists and offer a week full of activities for all audiences,” said the mayor.
The Youth Councilor, Juan Carlos González, detailed the Youth Week activities that will be carried out within the framework of the festival, designed to involve and entertain the youth of the municipality.
For her part, Krysten Martín, Councilor of Commerce of the Council, highlighted the Council's support for the event and the continued collaboration with the city council. “From the Cabildo of Tenerife, we support initiatives such as the Tenerife Vive + Festival that promote the economic and cultural development of our island. “This festival is an example of how cooperation between institutions can generate great opportunities for our citizens.”
One of the most anticipated moments of the festival will be, without a doubt, the performances of the main artists: Pedro Capó and Chanel. Puerto Rican singer Pedro Capó, known for hits like "Calma", will perform on Friday, July 5, while the talented singer and actress Chanel will perform on Saturday, July 6, promising to offer unforgettable shows.
