The mayor presents the Christmas program of Santiago del Teide 2024-2025

 

More than 50 acts make up the municipality's Christmas programming 2024-2025

 

The mayor of Santiago del Teide Emilio Navarro presented this Wednesday, November 27, the Christmas program of the municipality 2024-2025, which is composed of more than 50 acts and events that will take place between November 30 and January 6, 2025.

 

In the presentation that took place in the central courtyard of the town hall, the mayor of the municipality, Emilio Navarro, as well as the councillor for Culture, David Quintero, the councillor for Commerce, Germán Jiménez and the councillor for Citizen Participation, Brenda Dévora, appeared, who agreed to highlight that the city council has worked in a coordinated and transversal way between the different areas to carry out a program of these characteristics.

 

During that appearance, Emilio Navarro assured that "from the city council we have developed a complete program of activities to enjoy as a family, the children being the great protagonists of these dates. With this programming we seek the participation of the neighbours of the place, as well as the tourists who visit us also looking for, with this programming, the commercial and economic revitalisation throughout the municipality as key elements."

 

For his part, the Councillor for Culture, David Quintero, wielded the most important cultural and festive events such as the Christmas lighting, the Los Cantadores concert, the end of the year in Los Gigantes and the Three Kings parade.

 

The Councillor for Commerce, Germán Jiménez emphasised the events "A Cliff of Flavours", the elaboration of the largest nougat in Spain and the commercial campaign "A Closer Christmas" with the idea of building customer loyalty, among other events.

 

Finally, the Councillor for Citizen Participation and Volunteering, Brenda Dévora spoke about the I Volunteer Fair that will be held in Puerto de Santiago as well as the acts and events that have a marked inclusive and collaborative component within the Christmas programming such as the elaboration of the inclusive solidarity chocolate nativity scene and sponsors a letter from the wise men with the idea that no child will be left without a gift on these important dates.

 

During the celebration of the press conference, chef Pablo Pastor made a small nougat made with almonds and honey from Santiago del Teide as a prelude to the preparation of the largest nougat in Spain that will be held on December 14 in the Plaza Buganvilla de Los Gigantes.
