Marouane Berradia, winner of the 4th edition of the Bestial Race Santiago del Teide 2025

The race was attended by more than 500 runners

The 4th edition of the Bestial Race Santiago del Teide, held last Saturday, August 23, crowned Marouane Berradia the overall winner in a race that brought together more than 500 runners from the Canary Islands, the Iberian Peninsula, and various countries abroad.

The sporting event, which has established itself as one of the most prestigious obstacle races in Spain, took place on a demanding course through the natural landscapes of the Teide foothills, combining climbs, descents, and technical obstacles that tested the endurance and skill of the participants.

The competition began with the starts of the Elite and Starter categories, followed by the T-Rex and Hell categories, which completed the program in different shifts. In the men's Elite heat, Marouane Berradia took the victory, followed by Aissa Benzirar González in second place and Jonathan Andrés Díaz in third. The women's podium, however, was empty.

The Bestial Race Santiago del Teide is part of the Bestial Race Series 2025, a circuit that qualifies its best racers for the world's most important international championships. It is worth noting that this race is the only obstacle course in the Canary Islands with this official recognition, placing it among the top 10 races in Spain and consolidating its position as an international benchmark for sport and active tourism in the municipality.
