Recently, the Santiago del Teide City Council and the Hotel Barceló Santiago made an emotional tribute to Mr. Bruno Thüring. Mr. Thüring has been faithful to destiny Santiago for 30 years del Teide and more, specifically, the Barceló Santiago hotel being its first arrival in January 1991. Given that loyalty to the municipality for so many years, the City Council hand in hand with its Councilor for Tourism, Luz Goretti Gorrín as well as from the director of the Barceló Santiago hotel, Julio Barrientos and members of the person from the hotel was kind enough to pay him a small tribute and thank you for your trust in our tourist destination. In this sense, municipal sources indicate that the municipality Santiago del Teide is an example of tourist loyalty throughout Canary Islands since it is very difficult to find anywhere in the islands people like Mr. Thüring and many other examples who have been visiting for 30 or even 40 and close to 50 years and staying as in a hotel in Santiago del Teide.
