The deadline to participate in the XIX edition of the Christmas Postcard Contest is open

The deadline for submitting work will end at 9:00 p.m. on December 2

The City Council of Santiago del Teide announces that the deadline for submitting the postcard designs that will participate in the XIX edition of the Christmas Postcard Contest is now open.

The submission period will be open until 9:00 p.m. on December 2 of this year and those young residents in the municipality who are over 12 years old and under 30 years old may participate.

Regarding the prizes, as in previous years, the contest will distribute three prizes, the first of them with a value of € 150, while the second will get a prize of € 100 and there will be a third prize of € 50.

Likewise, and as in other editions, the theme of the contest will be free, although topics with racist, xenophobic content or that threatens the dignity of people will not be accepted. Likewise, designs that make an apology for violence or contain sexist or political themes will not be accepted, taking into account that the postcard must be delivered in paper or digital format, provided that it has a pseudonym that will appear behind the design.

As for the form of delivery of the designs, they must be presented in person or by ordinary mail to the address of the City Council (Calle La Placeta, nº 10 -38690-, Santiago del Teide), although they can also be collected at the City Council's registration register, in the Mayor's Office of Playa de La Arena, in the municipal libraries, as well as in the Casa de La Juventud de Tamaimo and in the different youth centres.

Regarding the presentation of the same, inside a closed envelope and separately the corresponding registration will be delivered with the personal data of the author - name, surname, ID, address, telephone and, where appropriate, email address -, although on the outside of it the pseudonym used in the designs must be reflected.

Finally, it is worth mentioning that the jury's judgement will be communicated from December 3.
