Santiago del Teide Celebrates “Health Week” with Activities for the Whole Family
The event will take place from April 7th to 10th.
The Santiago del Teide Town Hall is launching a new edition of Health Week, which will be held from April 7th to 10th, with a diverse program aimed at promoting healthy lifestyle habits among the population, especially within families and among children.
During these days, different activities will take place at various locations throughout the municipality, beginning on Tuesday, April 7th, with Healthy Storytelling sessions at the CEIP Aurelio Emilio Acosta Fernández de Arguayo and CEIP Feliciano Hernández schools in Santiago del Teide.
The program will continue on Wednesday, April 8th, with another storytelling session at the CEIP Tamaimo school and, at 4:00 PM, a workshop on infant nutrition, which will be held at the Tamaimo Community Center. On Thursday, April 9th, the CEIP José Esquivel school in Puerto de Santiago will host another healthy storytelling session, reinforcing the message of healthy habits education from an early age.
To close out the week, a large Healthy Event will be held on Friday, April 10th, in the Plaza Norberto García in La Vigilia, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The event will include a play area, children's activities, awareness workshops, and information tents.
The closing ceremony will take place at 8:00 PM in the same location, with a musical performance by Yuly, The Voice of Mexico, bringing to a close a week dedicated to well-being and health.
The Santiago del Teide City Council invites all citizens to actively participate in this initiative, which seeks to promote healthy lifestyles, nutritional education and active leisure in a close and accessible environment for everyone.
