The Santiago del Teide Town Hall and the Municipal Band are holding the Extraordinary Saint Cecilia's Day Concert, accompanied by the group La Guardia, a Granada-based pop-rock group that became famous in the late 80s and early 90s. This unmissable musical event will take place this Saturday, November 22nd, starting at 8:00 p.m. in Buganvilla Square in Los Gigantes, with free admission.

Saint Cecilia is the patron saint of music, a discipline that has experienced a great boom in the municipality in recent years. It's worth noting that the music school in the municipality has 244 students, 12 teachers, and offers 22 musical specializations.

La Guardia is a Spanish pop-rock group that reached its peak fame in the late 1980s and early 1990s during the Movida Madrileña cultural movement, with hits like "Cuando brille el sol" (When the Sun Shines) and, especially, "Mis calles llevan hacia ti" (My Streets Lead to You), which reached number 1 on the Los 40 Principales chart in 1989 and became the group's signature song.
