Santiago del Teide honors four couples for their long-standing loyalty in visiting the municipality for over 20 consecutive years

 

These four couples were honored to coincide with World Tourism Day

 

To mark World Tourism Day—celebrated this past Sunday, September 27—the Santiago del Teide Town Council, in collaboration with the Barceló Santiago, Landmar Playa La Arena, and TUI Blue Los Gigantes hotels, held a lovely and moving tribute to four couples who exemplify tourist loyalty to the municipality.

 

The honorees were:

 

*   Jean Mitchell Tarniewicz and Martine Marie Reine Morel (staying at the Barceló Santiago), who have been visiting several times a year for 22 years.

 

*   Stewart Donaldson and Isobel Jessie (also staying at the Barceló Santiago), who have been visiting continuously for 20 years.

 

*   Johns Stephenson and Lorraine Stephenson (staying at the Landmar Playa La Arena Hotel), who have made more than 20 consecutive visits.

 

*   Mr. Denys Brown and Mrs. Sheila Brown (staying at the TUI BLUE Los Gigantes), who have been returning year after year for over 25 years.

 

The tribute took place at the three aforementioned tourist establishments and was attended by the Councilor for Tourism, Luz Goretti Gorrín, alongside members of the management teams and directors from the various hotel complexes.
