The city council announces the winners of the V Short Story Contest against Gender Violence
This contest aims to raise awareness among the population against Gender Violence.
The City Council of Santiago del Teide has announced this Monday, November 25, coinciding with the commemoration of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, the winners of the V Microstory Contest against Gender Violence with which It seeks to raise awareness among the population against gender violence, seeking to strengthen the values of respect and equality, so that together we can put an end to this social scourge.
In this sense, within the “general category” the first prize valued at €500 went to Rocío Graffigña González with her short story titled “LIBRE Y SOBERANA”. The second prize valued at €300 went to Carla María Gil Peña with her work titled "RECIPES FOR HOPE" while the third prize valued at €200 went to Esteban Torres Sagra with the short story titled "ZERO TOLERANCE".
For its part, within the “IES Serafín Pardo” category, the first prize valued at €500 went to Leonardo Pire Díaz with his work titled “EL ÚLTIMO TIMBRE”. The second prize valued at €300 went to Bianca Arencibia Gray with her short story “FLOWERS IN THE DARK” while the third prize valued at €200 went to Aurora Pinna with her work “NEVER REALIZED YOU”.
