The Santiago del Teide Town Council coordinates a comprehensive security operation for the Fiestas del Carmen in Puerto de Santiago.

The Santiago del Teide Town Council held a Local Security and Coordination Board meeting in preparation for the Fiestas del Carmen. Representatives from the Civil Guard, Local Police, Canary Islands Police, Volunteer Firefighters, Civil Protection, health services, those responsible for the Self-Protection Plan, and municipal technical staff participated.

 

During the meeting, the various planned events were analyzed, and the necessary human and material resources were coordinated to guarantee the safety of residents and visitors. Collaboration between all levels of government and the different emergency services was strengthened.

 

Mayor Emilio Navarro expressed his gratitude for the involvement of all the professionals participating in this important operation, emphasizing that public safety is an absolute priority and requires planning, coordination, and everyone's commitment.
