José Carlos Báez and Isabel Valid absolute winners of the Crossing to Swim "Walls of Hell" 2022

José Carlos Báez and Isabel Valido were proclaimed absolute winners of the 6.5 km crossing in the male and female category while in the 1.5 km crossing, the male absolute winner was Diego Dévora and in the female category was Elena Borges.

 

The swimmer José Carlos Báez finished in first place in the absolute general standings in the distance of 6.5 km with a time of 1:26:43, while in second position Francisco Javier Luis qualified with a time of 1:30:12 and in third overall position Luis Roberto Rey finished with a time of 1:34:06.

 

In the general men's category, the first place was for José Carlos Báez with 1:26:43, second Francisco Javier Luis with 1:30:12 and third Luis Roberto Rey with 1:34:06. In the general women's category the winner was Isabel Valido with a time of 1:45:43, second Victoria Sánchez finished with 1:55:15 and in third place Natalia Pocull entered with 1:57:33.

 

As for the men's general category in the 1.5 km test, the winner was Diego Devora Chinea with a time of 22:38, in second place, Ricardo Sánchez finished with 24:52, while in third place José Miguel de Salamanca entered with a time of 26:44. In women, the swimmer Elena Borges dominated the 1.5 km test with a time of 29:17, in second place the swimmer Veronica Soriano finished with a time of 31:08 and in third place Clara Aledo finished with a time of 31:32.

 

As for the local participants, point out that the first male position in the 6.5 km distance was for Jose María Teixido with a time of 2:09:17. In second place ended Francisco Jonay Rivero with a time of 2:16:55 and third ended Walter Bonazzi with a time of 2:17:07. In the local women's category of 6.5 the first swimmer to enter the finish line was Raquel Jiménez with a time of 2:15:59, second Annick Vande Kerckhove with a time of 2:18:18 and third ended Ana Bethlehem Socas with 2:21:34.

 

In the local 1.5 km male test, Gutavo Hitti entered first with a time of 28:52, in second place Stephen Strangeway finished with a time of 35:05 and in third place Jose Alexander Socas finished with a time of 40:30. In the local female category of 1.5 km the first swimmer was Belén González with 32:34, the second place went to Ekaterina Sapronova with 34:57 and in third place Elena Salvador finished with 35:35.
