The city council pays subsidies to new business projects in the municipality

 

Investment expenses that have been made in the period between January 1 and August 2 of this year are subsidised

 

The City Council of Santiago del Teide is currently paying the approved grants aimed at supporting the start-up and start of the activity of those business projects created from July 28, 2021 and whose subsidised investment expenses have been made in the period between January 1 and August 2 of this year.

 

Through these subsidies for which the consistory has allocated €45,000, it is intended to promote the generation of economic activity in the municipality, trying to encourage the generation of new business activities that respond to the needs of society and allow them to compete in the local productive fabric.

 

These subsidies granted by the city council are up to a maximum of €3,000.00 with the limit of 50% of the eligible investment (minimum investment €2,000.00), in accordance with the provisions of the bases thereof.

 

This call could be attended by natural or legal persons as well as communities of property that have started an economic activity during the period established in each selection process; that their location as well as their tax and social domicile, is located in the municipality of Santiago del Teide and have made an initial investment for an amount equal to or greater than two thousand euros, which must be justified at the time of the 2 million euros, among other requirements.
