Santiago del Teide is preparing to celebrate the Festivities in Honour of St. Peter the Apostle 2023
They will take place from this Wednesday, June 28 to Sunday, July 2
From this Wednesday, June 28 and until Sunday, July 2, the Festivities in Honour of St. Peter the Apostle 2023 will be held in Santiago del Teide, which, on this occasion, will have numerous events during all the days of its celebration.
Thus, this celebration will begin on Wednesday, June 28, from 5:00 p.m., with the Ping-Pong Championship, although it will be from 8:00 p.m. when the Eucharist will take place in Honour of San Pedro Apóstol, in the Parish of San Fernando Rey, which will be officiated by our Parish Don Víctor Manuel Fernández Suárez and sung by Next, the Procession will begin along the usual tour, accompanied by the Authorities, faithful and the Municipal Band of Santiago del Teide, highlighting that during the tour you can enjoy an exhibition of fireworks to, later, give way to the staging of the Bonfire of San Pedro, after which you can enjoy in the square of chocolate and rosquetes. Finally, from 10:00 p.m., the public square of Santiago del Teide will host the screening of the film "At war with my grandfather".
It will be on Thursday, June 29, from 5:00 p.m., when the futsal match between singles and married will take place, while at 5:30 p.m. the tour of the batucada through the streets of the town will begin, although at 7:00 p.m. the celebration of the Eucharist in Honour of San Pedro Apóstol will take place, in the Parish Next, the Procession will take place along the usual route, accompanied by the Authorities, faithful and the Municipal Band of Santiago del Teide, highlighting that it will have an exhibition of fireworks. Finally, it will not be until 9:00 p.m. when the public square will welcome a large meal of potatoes, ribs and pineapple, which will be enlivened by the Paradise Group.
From 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 30, children will be able to have a great time with a morning of bouncy castles and workshops for the enjoyment of all children; while at 4:00 p.m. the game "The search for the keys of San Pedro" will begin. It will be from 5:00 p.m. when an Envite championship takes place to, later, give way to the adult Hifi Scale, which will take place at 9:00 p.m. and in which the acknowledgements will be given to the people who have helped the San Pedro 2023 Festival Commission. Next, you can enjoy the performance of the groups of the People - "Cherfe" Theatre and Rock Group Baifo Loco, which on this occasion will make a tribute to Vertigo and Timargo - to, later, give way to the Dance enlivened by the Maraury Orchestra, from 23:00H.
As for Saturday, July 1, Children's Day, the little ones will be able to enjoy, from 11:00 a.m., a morning of bouncy castles, although at 5:30 p.m. the final of the Envite Championship will take place, which will have different prizes. It will not be until 17:30H. when the Children's Hifi Scale begins, which will have the participation of the children of the town; although from 18:30H. the Children's Verbena will take place, which will be in charge of Komba Producciones. Finally, it will be from 23:30H. when the Gran Verbena San Pedro 2023 will be held, which will be enlivened by the Malibu Band and Tropin Orchestra orchestras.
As for Sunday, July 2, from 1:00 p.m., the XVI staging of barter will take place, which will end with the performance of traditional parties; highlighting that from 6:00 p.m. the Great Festival will begin, which on this occasion will feature the performances of Pepe Benavente, as well as Edwin Rivera and his orchestra.
