The deadline for submissions is 8:00 PM on December 10th.
The Santiago del Teide Town Hall announces that the submission period for Christmas card designs for the 20th Annual Christmas Card Contest is now open.
Submissions will be accepted until 8:00 PM on December 10th of this year. Young residents of the municipality between the ages of 12 and 35 are eligible to participate.
As in previous years, the contest will award three prizes: €150 for first place, €100 for second place, and €50 for third place.
As in previous years, the theme of the contest is open, although themes containing racist, xenophobic, or offensive content will not be accepted. Similarly, designs that glorify violence or contain sexist or political themes will not be accepted. The postcard must be submitted in either paper or digital format, and must include a pseudonym on the back of the design.
Designs must be submitted in person or by mail to the Town Hall (Calle La Placeta, nº 10 - 38690 - Santiago del Teide). Alternatively, they can be submitted to the Town Hall's registry office, the Playa de La Arena Deputy Mayor's Office, municipal libraries, the Tamaimo and Puerto de Santiago Youth Centers, and various youth centers.
Regarding the submission of entries, the corresponding registration form, containing the author's personal information—name, surname, national identity document number, address, telephone number, and, if applicable, email address—must be submitted inside a separate, sealed envelope. The pseudonym used in the designs must be clearly visible on the outside of the envelope.
Finally, the jury's decision will be announced starting December 12th.
