The City Council announces the winning entries of the 29th "Almond Blossom" Photography Contest 2026
The 29th "Almond Blossom" Photography Contest 2026 has announced its winners following the decision of the appointed jury. In this edition, as in previous years, there were three categories: night photography, creative and conceptual photography, and macro photography.
In this regard, the winning works were:
NIGHT PHOTOGRAPHY MODALITY
* First prize, valued at €300, was awarded to Arai Alonso Melián for the work entitled "The Almond Tree That Touched the Stars." The second prize, valued at €200, went to Javier Gea Leiva for the work "The Night Blossoms," while the third prize, valued at €150, was awarded to Arancha Martín del Castillo for the work entitled "Spring Among the Stars."
CREATIVE AND CONCEPTUAL PHOTOGRAPHY MODALITY
* First prize, valued at €300, was awarded to Alex Rosa Palarea for the work "Ataque de color" (Attack of Color). The second prize, worth €200, went to Jhon Eloy Perales for his work “The Memory of the Wind,” while the third prize, worth €150, was awarded to Karim Bouamni Rodríguez for his work “The Hidden Portal of Spring.”
PHOTOGRAPHY METHODOLOGY MACRO
- The first prize, worth €300, was awarded to Iván Laltrelli for his work entitled “Bloom.” The second prize, valued at €200, went to María del Mra Hernández Violán with the work “Almendro íntimo” while the third prize, valued at €150, went to María Isabel Reyes Sanfiel with the work “Latidos de Polen”.
