It will allow investments by the company worth € 304,000

The Mayor of Santiago del Teide, Emilio Navarro and the director of the Aqualia delegation in the Canary Islands, Francisco Blanco, signed, this Thursday, August 5, the extension of the contract for the provision of the municipal water supply service for a period of five years more.  The Aqualia-Entemanser company, the winner of the water supply in the municipality of Santiago del Teide for 15 years, has carried out improvements in the network and in the municipal supply throughout this journey for a value close to 1 million euros. This new agreement, for another 5 years, will make it possible to undertake different investments in the water networks, amounting to 304,000 euros, at zero interest cost for the municipal coffers.  For the Mayor, Emilio Navarro, “the signing of this extension implies trusting in a company that has carried out and is doing a great job in the municipality with significant investments throughout its years of adjudication, with which innumerable existing infrastructures have been improved. With this new contract extension we seek, between both levels, to bet on investment for the environment and sustainability as fundamental axes of future work ".
