Registrations are open to participate in the XI edition of the Cicloturista de Santiago del Teide
This sports event will be held on June 22 from 09:00 hours
The City Council of Santiago del Teide announces that registrations are now open to participate in the XI edition of the traditional Cicloturista march of Santiago del Teide, which will take place on Sunday, June 22 from 09:00 hours.
All people who wish to participate, whether federated or not, without distinction of sex or nationality, may participate, as long as they are 18 years old or older on the day of the test and that they do not suffer from any disease that incapacitates them for this type of events. Participation is valid, both with racing, mountain and electric bikes.
Thus, this event will have as its starting point and finish the Abelardo González de Tamaimo square and after 51 km of cycling will have the last 6 km of ascent to Tamaimo as a time trial at a competitive level and where the final classifications will be defined. The complete tour starts from Tamaimo then goes up to Santiago del Teide centre, Arguayo, Chio, Guía de Isora,
Armeñime, Alcalá, Puerto de Santiago and back to Tamaimo.
Registration will be open until June 18 and/or until the 400 registrations are sold out.
Registrations will have a price of €20 for the general public and €10 for people registered in Santiago del Teide.
