The City Council supports the municipal primary sector with €60,000

The application period will be open until August 26th, and the grant will be up to a maximum of €3,500, €750 more than the previous call.

The Santiago del Teide City Council announces that the application period for grants for the municipality's primary sector will be open until August 26th. The grants are intended to be an effective tool both to increase and promote the development of activities in the sector and to support existing activities, providing and promoting optimal functioning for their growth and continuity.

To this end, the City Council has allocated a budget of €60,000, with each beneficiary receiving a minimum of €500 and a maximum of €3,500, €750 more than the last call.

Individuals or legal entities operating in the primary sector who meet the following general requirements may apply for this call:

- Be registered in the Municipal Register of Residents of the municipality of Santiago del Teide at least SIX MONTHS prior to the publication of these rules and operate in this municipality.

- Have the registered office of the Entity in the municipality of Santiago del Teide (entity with legal personality).

- Beneficiaries must be up to date with their tax obligations, including those with Social Security, the State and Regional Public Treasury, and the Municipal Treasury, and not be subject to any of the conditions set forth in Article 13 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, for which they must provide a sworn declaration.

- Be registered for the Economic Activities Tax (IAE) and the respective special Social Security regimes.

- Have justified any financial aid previously received from the City Council of the Historic Village of Santiago del Teide.

Any investments aimed at improving the development of the activity based on improving its operation through the use of renewable energy (non-inventory assets) may be eligible for subsidies. Any investments that promote sustainability and energy efficiency and that imply the advancement and growth of the activity, such as the installation of water and energy saving systems (non-inventory), ecological practices in each sector, occupational risk prevention expenses, computer equipment (non-inventory), and a host of other expenses that are included in the regulatory bases of these grants, may be eligible for subsidies.
