Santiago del Teide launches “Raíces del Sabor”, an international campaign to promote local products in collaboration with Tenerife Tourism
The City of Santiago del Teide in collaboration with Turismo de Tenerife launches “Raíces del Sabor”, an audiovisual campaign intended to promote the local product of the municipality and to strengthen its position as a gastronomic and tourist destination.

A campaña centered on the territory and where the work takes place
The initiative includes a series of audiovisual pieces dedicated to five emblematic products of the municipality: the artisan fish, the honey, the platano, the wine and the almond. This video highlights the work of the producing properties and the wine between territory, tradition and gastronomy, offering a real vision and understanding of how the foods that form part of the identity of Santiago del Teide are developed.
An action linked to “Turrón Más Largo del Mundo”
“Raíces del Sabor” also serves as a promotional opportunity for a major event in the city: the development of Turrón Más Largo del Mundo, which will be celebrated on December 13 in the Plaza de Puerto de Santiago.
This gastronomic hit, which aspired to enter the Guinness record and became a national and media reference, used local products, reinforced the message of the primary sector that vertebra the countryside.
