The town of El Molledo is preparing to receive the festivities in honor of Santa Rosa de Lima and the Immaculate Conception, which, on this occasion, will begin on Friday the 19th and end on Tuesday the 23rd of August, and will feature a program full of activities religious and recreational, aimed at all audiences.
The first day of celebration, Friday 19, begins with its activities from 10:00 am, with the arrival of the Radio Curbelo sound equipment. That same afternoon, starting at 7:30 p.m., the opening ceremony of the Plaza Pública de El Molledo will take place, with a performance by the Parranda Chasnera and, afterwards, a toast for the attendees. Later, starting at 11:00 p.m., there will be a verbena by the Arguayo Band orchestra.
On Saturday 20, starting at 10:00 am, there will be bouncy castles for the little ones in the town square. In addition, starting at 5:30 p.m., the Children's Festival will be held with the children of the town and the performance of Los Superheroes. Then, starting at 9:00 p.m., the Holy Mass will take place, officiated by Don Víctor Manuel Fernández Suarez. Next, a procession along the usual route, accompanied by the Santiago del Teide Music Band, and which will also feature fireworks during the route.
Activities continue on Sunday 21, with a foam party and water castles, starting at 10:00. That same afternoon, starting at 5:00 p.m., the Futsal Match between singles and married people will take place. Later, starting at 9:00 p.m., the Great Variety Festival will take place, with performances by comedian Daniel Calero and a star performance by Los Cantadores.On Monday, August 22, starting at 10:00 a.m., the kids in the area will be able to enjoy bouncy castles, and that same day, starting at 8:00 p.m., those attending Manuel Dorta's performance will also be able to enjoy a Giant Sandwich.
To end the celebrations, on Tuesday the 23rd, starting at 10:00 a.m. there will be bouncy castles for the little ones. Starting at 6:00 p.m., the Holy Mass will be celebrated, officiated by Don Víctor Manuel Fernández Suarez. Next, a procession along the usual route, accompanied by the Santiago del Teide Music Band, and which will also feature fireworks during the route. And the auction and end of the festivities will be at 8:00 p.m., with the Grand Papada end of the party and the dance by the Maraury Orchestra.
