The Santiago del Teide Town Hall opens registration for the 21st Annual Nativity Scene Contest
The registration deadline is 9:00 PM on December 18th.
The Santiago del Teide Town Hall is holding the 20th annual Nativity Scene Contest, open to residents of the municipality, including youth groups, associations, and individuals. Participants must have parental or legal guardian authorization.
Three prizes will be awarded in each category, as follows:
First prize: €150.00
Second prize: €100.00
Third prize: €50.00
Regarding the registration period, it will end at 9:00 PM on December 18th. Registration must be done in person or by mail to the following address: Santiago del Teide Town Hall, Calle la Placeta Nº 10, C.P. 38690, Santiago del Teide. Registration can also be done at the following locations, where the competition rules can be consulted:
Town Hall Registry Office.
Deputy Mayor's Office in Playa de La Arena.
Puerto de Santiago Municipal Library.
Santiago del Teide Municipal Library.
Tamaimo Youth Center.
Puerto de Santiago Youth Center.

It should be noted that registration for the competition must include the author's personal information—name, surname, national identity document number, address, telephone number, and, if applicable, email address—as well as several photos of the participating nativity scene. A member of the organizing committee will visit the registered nativity scenes to verify the authenticity of the works.
The jury will be composed of corporate staff, expert technicians, and individuals recognized in the cultural field or who work professionally in areas related to culture, art, design, photography, etc. The jury's visit will take place starting December 19, 2025.
