The second edition of the "Mujer Tenías Que Ser..." Podcast Contest is now open.

The Santiago del Teide City Council is organizing the second edition of the "Mujer Tenías Que Ser..." Podcast Contest. The deadline for submitting entries is March 31st at 11:59 PM. Participants are 18 years of age or older and residents of Spain.

Podcasts must focus on the topic of real equality between women and men, as well as the prevention of gender-based violence in all its forms. Podcasts must express an individual or collective reflection on the phrase "Mujer Tenía Que Ser...". Participation will be through the submission of an audio file (podcast) that can be in the form of a program, news report, documentary, or audio fiction (stories, fables, historical reenactments, etc.). Stories can be real or fictional, serious or humorous, recorded live or with post-production, with a maximum duration of 10 minutes and in Spanish.

Entries must be submitted in mp3 format as follows:

- Audio submissions must be sent to igualdad@santiagodelteide.es - The subject line must include "2nd Contest" of the Santiago del Teide City Council Podcast, and in the body of the message a brief description of the work.

- The title of the audio file must include the exact title of the podcast as provided in the application form.

- The application form must be completed in all fields, clearly specifying the title of the submitted work and attaching the participant's ID.

- You can submit the application online through the website or in person at the municipal registry.

The prizes will be as follows:

- 1st PRIZE: €500.00

- 2nd PRIZE: €300.00

- 3rd PRIZE: €200.00

 

The total value of the prizes to be awarded will be €1,000. It should be noted that the jury's decision will be made, unless there is a duly justified reason, within a maximum of one month from the deadline for submission of works.
