The City Council of Santiago del Teide organizes the literary project "In April I tell you..." with which local writers will present their creations under the theme of the world of literature and to celebrate and commemorate Book Day.
For this reason, on April 21 and 28, different activities will take place, which are developed with the aim of promoting reading, and also promoting the defense and protection of the publishing industry. The project is accompanied by a program full of actions related to narrative, literature, reading, writing...
This event will begin this Thursday, April 21, from 7:00 p.m. at the Fisherman's Museum in Puerto de Santiago, where an evening will take place with presentations by local authors such as the Book "Dromomanía" by the hand of Sara Burisima. In addition, the writer Joaquín Tena will also present his book "Love and Ground Meat". All this will be accompanied by the Violin and Piano duo of Diego Expósito Socas and Davinia Pérez Pérez.
On the other hand, on April 28, at the Tamaimo Social Center, starting at 7:00 p.m., there will also be presentations of books such as “Cherfe, Anhelos de Justicia”, by Jesús Alberto Reyes Cornejo. For her part, Sandra Santana presents “The Days I Lived Without You” while the local writer, Ana Nayra Gorrín Navarro, accompanied by the singer Elena Saavedra, will present her book “Sunset in Arrecife”. This evening will also be musicalized by the duo of Davinia Pérez Pérez and Diego Expósito Socas on violin and piano.
