The Mayor of Santiago del Teide, Emilio Navarro, has signed this Monday, April 4, the act of reception of the sanitation works and execution of scuppers in the transversal streets El Agua and Acebuche in Tamaimo.
For this purpose, the City Council invested an amount close to €43,000 in order to correct the stagnation of rainwater that occurred in these streets.
The actions that were carried out consisted of the demolition of asphalt pavements, excavations in ditches, which housed the PVC-U, DN 315mm, sanitation pipeline. All this, with the execution of two manholes.
In the same way, two scuppers were built that were located in the transversal streets El Agua and Acebuche and, finally, these affected areas were resurfaced with two layers of asphalt.
