On Sunday, May 22, and after two years without being able to celebrate, the town of Valle de Arriba was able to carry out the traditional Rogativa del Señor del Valle to the Los Baldíos area, as happened in 1909 with the eruption of the Chinyero volcano.
This act immersed in the Festivities in Honor of the Holy Christ of the Valley and the Virgin of the Star 2022 was attended by Mayor Emilio Navarro, different members of the government group and numerous neighbors who accompanied the images in prayer.
Upon reaching this area, after traveling more than two kilometers, the staging of the eruption took place, followed by Holy Mass and a fellowship lunch before starting the return journey to the hermitage of Santiago Apóstol de said locality.
