Los Gigantes will celebrate this coming weekend, specifically, from March 18 to 20, a preview of what will be the Carnival that will take place, provided that sanitary conditions allow it, during the month of August.
Under the theme of "Carnaval de los Cuentos" this weekend numerous activities will be held in the Plaza Buganvilla to enjoy with the family.
In this sense, this Friday, March 18 at 11:00 a.m., the Carnival Costume Exhibition “Flirting, a Carnival of Hope” will be inaugurated by the designer Alfonso Baute. Around 5:00 p.m., there will be children's performances, including a costume parade, and then end the day with a performance by the local group Tío Franklin.
On Saturday 19, starting at 11:00 a.m. several workshops will be offered to enjoy in the company of the little ones. At 8:00 p.m., the Presentation Gala of the Summer Carnival and the Candidates for Child and Adult Queen of 2022 will take place, accompanied by performances and troupes.
To finish, on Sunday at 11:00 there will be a parade of comparsas that will pass through the hotel complexes of the municipality. Around 7:00 p.m., the event will close with the show “Rock de Big Band” by the Canary Islands Jazz Orchestra.
For reasons of health security, all weekend events are free admission until full capacity is reached.
