The local winners were José Carlos Sánchez in the men's category and Dácil Hernández in the women's category
Diego Molina and Victoria Sosa were the absolute winners in the male and female category of the 25th edition of the Santiago del Teide Swim Crossing that took place last Saturday over an approximate distance of 950 metres between La Arena beach and Puerto de Santiago beach.
In the men's category, the podium was as follows: in first place Diego Molina of the CN Martiánez team finished with a time of 15:42, second place went to Airam Peraza of the Tenerife Master with a time of 17.05 while Carlos Pérez of the Headswimming team finished third with a time of 17:22.
In the women's category in first place Victoria Sosa of the CN Martiánez team finished with a time of 17:12, in second place Sherezade Sigut of the C.D. team entered. Teneteide with a time of 18:38 while third place went to the local swimmer Dácil Hernández of the Club Natación Reales with a time of 20:52.
As for local participation, the awards fell, in the men's category, to José Carlos Sánchez of the Santiago del Teide Triathlon team with a time of 19:08, second place went to Jorge Díaz Hernández with a time of 20:23 and third place went to Gustavo Hitti Vargas with a time of 20:29.
As for the local women's category, the result was as follows: in first place Dácil Hernández of the Club Natación Reales finished with a time of 20.52, in second place Belén Socas of the Isora Swin team finished with a time of 23:34 and in third place Raquel Jiménez León of the El Mayorazgo Sports Complex entered with a time of 24:39.
Also, other no less important categories such as functional diversity in which Alejandro Meneses of the A.D Tensalus team won in the men's category with a time of 16:36 and in the women's category Leyla Salomé Lucena of the Tensalus team won with a time of 24:14 as well as categories of minors for children between the ages of 9
The First Deputy Mayor, Ibraim Forte, the Councillor for Sports, Juan Carlos González and the Councillor for Human Resources, Alexandra León, were present at the trophies.
