The Mayor of Santiago del Teide, Emilio Navarro, accompanied by municipal technicians and the winning company, recently signed the acceptance certificate for the remodeling works of Pasaje Jacaranda and Pasaje Tulipán in Los Gigantes, which formed part of the complementary project to the remodeling project of the Buganvilla square in Acantilado de Los Gigantes, for which nearly €200,000 of municipal funds were allocated.

The works that were undertaken were the following:

1- Remodeling of the Jacaranda Passage that was not included in the initial project and which was considered necessary because it is part of the plaza since it gives access to the central area. In it, resurfacing works were carried out including demolition of the existing pavement, the necessary earthworks and storm drainage.

2- Remodeling of the Tulipán Passage, it is an interior passage that connects the Tarajal and Drago passages. Repaving works were carried out in said passage, including the demolition of the existing pavement, storm drainage and the placement of lighting. In addition, the water supply installation of the houses in this passage was replaced since its installation was not adapted to the current applicable regulations.
