Since the beginning of the year, the aforementioned security body has immobilized more than thirty of this type of vehicle for different punishable reasons
Given the increasing presence of skateboards on the roads and public spaces of Santiago del Teide, the Local Police has proceeded, during the current year, to intensify the surveillance and control of these vehicles, both for private users and for companies dedicated to renting thereof.
In this sense, it should be noted that although there is still no municipal ordinance in this regard, the aforementioned security body of the municipality works with the current regulatory framework, proceeding, from the beginning of the year until now, to the immobilization and withdrawal of the road of more than thirty of this type of vehicles for different reasons that imply an infraction; emphasizing that work continues on the surveillance and control of this means of transport in order to guarantee perfect harmony between them and the rest of the users of our roads, always in favor of greater citizen security in Santiago del Teide.
