Since last Friday, April 22, La Vigilia square in Puerto de Santiago has been hosting the exhibition "A walk through the history of Club Deportivo Tenerife" which includes the key events in the centenary trajectory of CD Tenerife and which will be located in said place until next May 1.

The opening ceremony was attended by the Mayor of the municipality, Emilio Navarro, the second vice president of CD Tenerife and general secretary of the Foundation, Milagros Luis Brito, the Councilor for Sports, Juan Carlos González and the former player of C.D.Tenerife, Mauro Perez.

The exhibition is part of the CD Tenerife Centenary commemorative program, offering a reminder of the origins of island football and details of the most significant moments in the history of the Blue and White team, from its foundation in August 1922 to the conclusion of the 2020-2021 season.

 

The content of the exhibition is distributed in eight large cubes, 2x2x2 meters, illustrated with more than 400 photographs, many of them belonging to the Arocha Fund and the Pepe López Legacy, which make up the club's Historical Archive, in addition to literary and statistical content .

This is a collaborative initiative between the Fundación Canaria CD Tenerife, the City Council of Santiago del Teide and the Museums of the Island Council of Tenerife.
